At Piscataqua Savings Bank, we’re proud to recognize the growth and leadership of our dedicated team members. As a community bank committed to excellence, integrity, and service, it’s an honor to see our employees grow into new roles while continuing to make a meaningful impact, both inside and outside the bank. Please join us in congratulating the following five individuals on their well-deserved promotions.
Antone Cabral – Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
After nearly 25 years with Piscataqua Savings Bank, Antone Cabral has stepped into the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. His focus now leans more toward long-term planning and anticipating future technology needs, while still lending a hand in day-to-day operations when needed. “As a small institution, I’m always there to do what’s needed,” he shared. His new position also allows him to take a more active role as the bank’s B Corp Officer, helping to set and implement climate transition plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with B Corp certification standards.
Antone’s career has grown in tandem with the bank’s investment in his development. Over the years, he’s attended the Northern New England School of Banking, the New England School of Financial Studies, and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. “PSB has invested so many resources in my career, between the education and the relationships I’ve built, I’m thankful to call this place my home,” he said.
Outside of work, Antone is just as committed to community service. He’s held volunteer roles with Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity (including serving as president) and Leadership Seacoast, where he now serves on the Admissions Committee. Whether he’s helping out at local church lunches or unwinding with yard work and trips to microbreweries, Antone finds balance in blending purpose with passion.
David Bryan – Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
With over a decade of service at Piscataqua Savings Bank, David Bryan has helped steer the institution through times of both challenge and growth. In his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, he continues to lead the bank’s finance division, ensuring sound operations and conservative practices that prioritize customer trust. “People need a place to keep their money safe,” David said. “We like to think our conservative practices are reassuring to our customers.”
David joined the bank 14 years ago, bringing with him a background in bank regulation and finance, experience that proved invaluable during and after the Great Recession. He’s drawn to the bank’s commitment to traditional service and local values. “The bank is traditional with old-fashioned service and a wonderful local community orientation,” he said. “It’s a true local landmark, nice to be a part of.”
When he’s not at the bank, David enjoys spending time with his three-year-old grandson, often heading outdoors or just enjoying quiet family moments. He’s also active in his mission-driven church community, further reinforcing his dedication to living out the values he brings to work each day.
Wanda Fontaine – Senior Vice President & Senior Operations Officer
Wanda Fontaine’s journey with Piscataqua Savings Bank spans an impressive 35 years, and her impact continues to grow. In her new role as Senior Vice President and Senior Operations Officer, she oversees the bank’s deposit operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently, securely, and in line with PSB’s high standards. Wanda is also the bank’s Community Outreach Ambassador, a dual role that combines her operational leadership with her passion for giving back.
“I started my career here with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, and over the years I’ve been fortunate to grow both personally and professionally,” Wanda shared. “What I enjoy most about working at Piscataqua Savings Bank is the strong sense of community and purpose.” She takes pride in both strengthening internal systems and helping local families and businesses thrive.
Her commitment extends well beyond the bank’s walls. As Community Outreach Ambassador, Wanda leads volunteer initiatives, builds partnerships with nonprofits, and champions financial literacy efforts across the Seacoast. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and soaking in everything the local area has to offer. Her decades of service are a testament to the power of consistent leadership and heartfelt connection.
Thomas Queeney – Senior Vice President & Senior Trust Officer
With a banking career that began in high school and spanned roles in college credit unions and community banking, Tom Queeney brings decades of insight to his position as Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer. At Piscataqua Savings Bank, he leads the Trust & Investment Department, helping clients and nonprofit organizations manage their assets with care and clarity. “Assisting our clients and their beneficiaries attain their financial dreams, that’s what it’s all about,” Tom said.
Tom has been with PSB for nine years and is a key member of the senior management team. He values the bank’s community-driven mission and the opportunity to provide tailored guidance to individuals and organizations. Under his leadership, the Trust & Investment Department also manages endowments for local nonprofits, ensuring these organizations have the resources to continue their important work.
Outside of the bank, Tom is active in the Seacoast Rotary, where he’s involved with nonprofit allocations and community events like the annual Turkey Trot fundraiser. Whether he’s working with clients or volunteering his time, Tom’s focus remains on helping others succeed financially, organizationally, and personally.
Matthew Gordon – Vice President & Treasurer
Matthew Gordon’s rise through the ranks at Piscataqua Savings Bank is a testament to both his talent and the bank’s culture of internal growth. He started as a Teller in 2015, moved into the Finance Department in 2016, and recently was promoted to Vice President and Treasurer. In his current role, Matt works alongside the CFO to manage the bank’s balance sheet, investment portfolio, and annual budget, while also coordinating with regulators and auditors.
“Over the past ten years, I’ve been fortunate to work with so many wonderful coworkers and mentors who have helped me grow,” Matt shared. “I often say I don’t know if I would be in banking if I didn’t get my first opportunity here.” He’s particularly proud of the bank’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility as a Certified B Corporation, and feels a strong sense of purpose in helping guide PSB’s long-term financial sustainability.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, especially his three-year-old, who keeps him active and outdoors. “We love getting outside whenever we can – walking the trails at Vaughn Woods, spending the day at Fort Foster, or just relaxing by the beach,” he said. Their favorite traditions include summer concerts at Prescott Park and visits to the Seacoast Science Center, where learning and fun go hand-in-hand.
